Have you ever considered using a video to explain exactly what your telecom, IT, or cloud products/services do in a way that attracts your ideal buyers?
If so, you’re on the right track.
Explainers, however, can be a tough nut to crack. There are so many poorly constructed examples online that prove doing a bad job could hurt your brand. That’s why we are summarizing a recent post full of tips from MarketingProfs.
Tip 1: Don’t Just Speak to One Person
There are between three and seven individuals that influence the buying decision in a given organization. While there is usually one “decision maker”, you’re generally selling to a group.
You know that, but your video should be made to appeal to the pains/struggles of related roles (e.g. gatekeepers) as well.
Tip 2: Really Drive Home Your Solution
Paint the picture of what the new world would look like with your product. Sell the solution to those different pains that you’ve laid out. Don’t be afraid to use their common industry language, as it will help you sell your expertise.
Tip 3: Explain How It Works
We mean really show them. Don’t go full demo on them, but do prove that you have the goods to solve those problems and create that better world. The key is to make it seem very easy (and hopefully it really is easy).
Tip 4: Relate Your Call to Action
You can’t end your video masterpiece with, “you wanna buy it”? Think about the problem and the proposed solution and use it to help the viewer move forward in the buying process.
